This website uses the term us a lot, which is actually rather funny, as Luminaryn Enterprises is currently a one-man operation. We are looking at expanding the talent pool shortly, but until then it's still just one.

My name is Timothy Totten. Most people call me Tim. I live in British Columbia, Canada, with my wife, two young sons, and a plethora of cute animals.

I've been using computers since the 80s. I've been using the Internet since 1993 (before that it was just BBS's, some of which had e-mail and usenet gateways, but nothing more.) I would say I've got a pretty good grasp of how the internet works. A lot has changed in the years that I've been online. I started designing websites in 1995, and moved onto web applications in 1997.

I've worked in the web hosting industry since '97 as well. I worked for Kootenay Network Systems (aka iDEVCO, based in Castlegar), and later Canada Web Hosting (aka Tenzing Managed IT Services, based in Kelowna) both for about 5 years, and both doing system administration, technical support and application development.

These days I work from my home office, in quiet Trail, B.C., from where I design and maintain everything from huge corporate web applications to tiny personal websites.
