Bringing Service to You!

There are plenty of computer repair places out there, but a lot of them want you to bring your computer into their store. Luminaryn has a different approach: we come to your home or office, and fix your computer right there!

Yeah, that's right, if you live in the West Kootenays region of BC, we'll come out and fix your computers right there. Working on a computer in its normal environment, with all its normal accessories, has many benefits, and can help track down problems that may be caused by those accessories, or even other external factors.

Getting you the parts you need

So, what happens if there is actual hardware failure? Well, if you bring your computer into a store, you hope they carry the part you need (and will be stuck paying whatever they charge for it). With Luminaryn, we'll find the part you need, at a good price, and from either a local store, or the nearest online store (if we can't find something in Trail, Castlegar or Nelson, we use stores in Kelowna, Vancouver and Calgary as our backups, each providing speedy delivery times.)

When we pick up the part, or it arrives in the mail, we'll come back over and set it up for you, at a time that works best for you.

The system administrator for Luminaryn Enterprises has been working with computers since the mid-80s, and with Linux & Unix based operating systems since 1996.

The majority of system administration tasks can be done remotely. If you require in-house administration, we are only available in the West Kootenays region of British Columbia, Canada.
